ஸ்ரீரங்கம் ரங்கநாதசுவாமி கோயில்

108 திவ்யதேசங்களில் முதலிடமாக போற்றப்படும் ஸ்ரீரங்கம் ரங்கநாதசுவாமி கோயில், திருச்சி மாவட்டத்தில் காவிரி மற்றும் கொள்ளிடம் ஆறுகளால் சூழப்பட்ட தீவில் அமைந்துள்ளது. பூலோக வைகுண்டம் என அழைக்கப்படும் இத்தலம், பஞ்ச ரங்கத் தலங்களில் முக்கியமானது.

மூலவர் ரங்கநாதர், உற்சவர் நம்பெருமாள். தாயார் ரங்கநாயகி. கோயிலின் பிரணவ வடிவ விமானம் சுயம்பு மூர்த்தமாக விளங்குகிறது. பாஞ்சராத்திர ஆகமப்படி பூஜைகள் நடைபெறும். கோயிலில் 21 கோபுரங்கள், 7 சுற்று மதில்கள், 7 தாயார்கள், 7 உற்சவங்கள் என ஏழு என்பது முக்கிய பாகமாக இருக்கிறது.

இடத்தின் வரலாறு ராமாயணத்துடன் தொடர்புடையது. ஸ்ரீராமர், விபீஷணனுக்கு ரங்கநாதரின் சிலையை அளித்தார். அந்த சிலை தற்போது ஸ்ரீரங்கத்தில் பக்தர்களை காக்கும் தெய்வமாக விளங்குகிறது.

திருவிழாக்களில் வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி, மாசித் தெப்ப உற்சவம், ஆடிப்பெருக்கு உள்ளிட்டவை பிரபலமானவை. வருடத்துக்கு ஒரு முறை மட்டுமே கண்டுகளிக்கும் சேவைகளாக 7 சேவைகள் உள்ளன. அவை பூச்சாண்டி சேவை, கற்பூர படியேற்ற சேவை, மோகினி அலங்காரம், ரத்னாங்கி சேவை, வெள்ளி கருடன் மற்றும் குதிரை வாகனம், உறையூர், ஸ்ரீரங்கம் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீராமநவமி சேர்த்தி சேவை, தாயார் திருவடி சேவை, ஜாலி, சாலி அலங்காரம் ஆகும்.

247 பாசுரங்கள் நாலாயிர திவ்யபிரபந்தத்தில் ஸ்ரீரங்கத்தை போற்றுகின்றன. ஸ்ரீராமானுஜரின் சாயுஜ்யமும் இங்குள்ள முக்கால வைராக்கிய சந்நிதியில் அமைந்துள்ளது. மிகப்பெரிய ராஜகோபுரம், அர்த்த பஞ்சக சின்னங்கள், 9 தீர்த்தங்கள் ஆகியவை கோயிலின் சிறப்பம்சங்கள்.

Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple 

Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple, revered as the foremost of the 108 Divya Desams, is located in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruchirappalli district, on an island between the rivers Kaveri and Kollidam. Known as “Bhooloka Vaikuntham,” it is one of the five sacred Pancharanga Kshetrams.

The presiding deity is Ranganatha (Moolavar) and the festival deity is Namperumal (Utsavar), with consort Ranganayaki Thayar. The temple features a unique self-manifested (Swayambu) vimana in the shape of ‘Om’ (Pranavakriti). Following the Pancharatra Agama tradition, it boasts 21 towers, 7 concentric walls, and several mandapams and sanctums.

The legend traces back to the Ramayana. Lord Rama gifted the idol of Ranganatha to Vibhishana, who, while resting on the Kaveri banks, inadvertently left it, causing the deity to remain in Srirangam.

Among the festivals, Vaikunta Ekadashi, Masit Theppa Utsavam, Aadiperukku are famous. There are 7 services that are observed only once a year. They are Poochandi Seva, Karpoora Padiyetra Seva, Mohini Alankaram, Rathnangi Seva, Silver Garuda and Horse Vehicle, Uraiyur, Srirangam and Sri Rama Navami Cherthi Seva, Thayar Thiruvadi Seva, Jolli, and Sali Alankaram.

Srirangam is glorified in 247 verses of the Naalayira Divya Prabandham. The site houses the incorruptible body of Saint Ramanuja. Unique rituals like the Arthapanchaka symbolism and rare Sevas make this temple spiritually significant.

It is truly a living Vaikunta on earth and a must-visit for Vaishnavite devotees.
