உத்தமர் கோயில் (திருச்சி)

திருச்சி மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள உத்தமர் கோயில் (கதம்பவனம்/பிச்சாண்டவர் கோயில்), 108 திவ்யதேசங்களில் 3-வது திவ்யதேசமாகும். இத்தலத்தில் மும்மூர்த்திகள் (பிரம்மா, விஷ்ணு, சிவன்) தம்பதி சமேதராக அருள்பாலிக்கின்றனர், இது மிகவும் அபூர்வம்.

மூலவர் புருஷோத்தமன், தாயார் பூர்ணவல்லி. திருமங்கையாழ்வார் இத்தலத்தை மங்களாசாசனம் செய்துள்ளார். இக்கோயிலில் கதலி தலவிருட்சமாகவும், கதம்ப தீர்த்தம் புனித தீர்த்தமாகவும் உள்ளது.

சிறப்பு: சிவபெருமான் பிச்சாண்டர் கோலத்தில் தோன்றிய இத்தலத்தில், திருமால் சிவபெருமானின் பசியை போக்கியதால் தாயாருக்கு ‘பூர்ணவல்லி’ எனப் பெயர். பிரம்மா இங்கு தவம் செய்து தரிசனம் பெற்றதால் அவருக்கான தனிச்சந்நிதி உள்ளது. சரஸ்வதி தேவி ஞானதாயினியாக தரிசனம் தருகிறார்.

உத்தமர் கோயிலில் மும்மூர்த்திகள் தனித்தனி சந்நிதியில் அருள்பாலிக்கின்றனர். இத்தலம் சப்தகுரு தலம் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

திருவிழாக்கள்: கார்த்திகை தீபம், சித்திரை திருவிழா, மாசிமகம், தைப்பூசம், வைகாசி தேரோற்சவம் சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்படுகின்றன.

இத்தலம் திருமணத் தடை நீங்க, குழந்தை வரம் கிடைக்க, கிரக தோஷங்கள் விலக வேண்டி வருபவர்களுக்கு சிறந்த பரிகார ஸ்தலம்.

Uthamar Koil (Tiruchirappalli)

Located in Tiruchirapalli, Uthamar Koil (also known as Kadambavanam or Pitchandar Koil) is the 3rd among the 108 Divya Desams sanctified by Alwars. It uniquely enshrines the Trimurti—Brahma, Vishnu (Purushothaman), and Shiva—each with their consorts, a rare occurrence.

The presiding deity is Purushothama Perumal, and his consort is Pooranavalli Thayar. Saint Thirumangai Alwar has glorified this temple in the Periya Thirumozhi. The sacred tree is Kadali (banana), and the holy tank is Kadamba Theertham.

Highlights: Lord Shiva appeared here as Pitchadanar to remove Brahmahatti Dosha. Goddess Lakshmi fed Him, fulfilling His hunger, hence named Pooranavalli. Lord Brahma performed penance here and received Perumal’s blessings; he has a dedicated shrine. Goddess Saraswati also graces the temple as Jnana Saraswati.

The temple is also known as Saptha Guru Sthalam, where seven divine gurus bestow their grace. All three deities have separate shrines within the complex, which is spiritually rare.

Festivals: Karthigai Deepam (three Sokkappanai), Chitra Utsavam, Thaipoosam (for Shiva), Masi Magam (for Perumal), and Vasantha Utsavams are celebrated grandly.

Uthamar Koil is a powerful Parihara Sthalam for resolving marital delays, child birth blessings, and planetary afflictions, especially for couples seeking harmony.
