1,500 ஆண்டுகள் பழமை வாய்ந்த கோயில், அரிசிலாற்றின் கிளை நதிக்கரையில், 142 அடி அகலம், 225 அடி நீளம், 72 அடி உயரம் கொண்ட ஐந்தடி ராஜகோபுரம் கொண்டது. கருடன் பூமிக்கு கீழ், ஆதிசேஷன் உயரத்தில் சந்நிதி பெறுவது சிறப்பு.
விழாக்கள்: வைகாசி பிரம்மோற்சவம், சித்திரை புத்தாண்டு, கிருஷ்ண ஜெயந்தி, மார்கழி வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி, மாசி அனந்தாழ்வார் விழா, பொங்கல், பங்குனி உத்திரம் ஆகியவை சிறப்பாக நடைபெறுகின்றன.

Thiruchirupuliyur Thalasayana Perumal Temple (Where the Lord Lies as a Child)
The Thalasayana Perumal Temple at Thiruchirupuliyur, honored as the 24th Divya Desam, is where Thirumangai Alvar composed 10 verses (Periya Thirumozhi) in praise of the deity.

According to temple legend, a conflict arose between Adiseshan and Garuda. Adiseshan, frightened, reached this sacred site seeking refuge. He performed penance, and on the Ekadashi of waxing moon in Masi month, Thalasayana Perumal appeared and granted him the boon of resting beneath Him, thus sanctifying this place.
The Lord reclines here in a child form, unlike Sri Rangam, where He lies in a grand form. This temple is associated with Vyaghrapada (Pulikal Munivar), Kanva Maharishi, and Patanjali.
The 1,500-year-old temple, located on the banks of a branch of the Arisil River, has a 5-tier Rajagopuram, measures 142 ft wide, 225 ft long, and faces south. Inside, one finds shrines for Garuda (underground), Adiseshan (elevated), Vishvaksena, Andal, Bala Anjaneya, and the Azhwars.
The temple celebrates many grand festivals: Vaikasi Brahmotsavam, Chithirai New Year, Krishna Jayanthi, Navaratri, Margazhi Vaikunta Ekadashi, Pongal, and Ananthalwar Utsavam in Masi.
