திருஇந்தளூர் பரிமள ரங்கநாதர் கோயில்

மயிலாடுதுறை அருகே அமைந்துள்ள திருஇந்தளூர் பரிமள ரங்கநாதர் கோயில் 26வது திவ்யதேசமாகத் திகழ்கிறது. ஏகாதசி விரதத்தின் மகிமையை உலகிற்கு எடுத்துச் சொல்லும் தலம் இது. திருமங்கையாழ்வார் இத்தலத்தில் 10 பாசுரங்களில் மங்களாசாசனம் செய்துள்ளார்.

அம்பரீசன் என்ற மன்னன் 100 ஏகாதசி விரதங்களைச் செய்தபோது, துர்வாச முனிவர் தடை செய்தார். பெருமாளிடம் சரண் புகுந்த அம்பரீசனை, பெருமாள் காப்பாற்றி, “வேண்டியதைக் கேள்” என அருள் செய்தார். அம்பரீசன், “இத்தலத்தில் நீருந்தரவேண்டும்” என வேண்ட, பெருமாள் இங்கு எப்போதும் அருள்பாலிக்கிறார்.

காவிரியின் கரையில் அமைந்த பஞ்சரங்கத் தலங்களில் இதுவும் ஒன்று. ஐந்து நிலை ராஜகோபுரத்துடன் பரந்த பிராகாரங்களும், ஹயக்ரீவர் சன்னிதியும் உள்ளன. சந்திரன் இத்தீர்த்தத்தில் நீராடி சாபவிமோசனம் பெற்றதால் இத்தலம் “இந்தளூர்” என அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

திருவிழாக்கள்:
மார்கழி வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி (20 நாள்), சித்திரை பவுர்ணமி, ஆவணி கண்ணன் உற்சவம், புரட்டாசி நவராத்திரி, பங்குனி பத்துத் திருவிழா ஆகியவை சிறப்பாக நடைபெறும்.

பெண்கள் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட தோஷங்கள் நீங்க, வாரிசு ஆசை நிறைவேற இத்தலத்தில் வழிபடுவது பயனளிக்கிறது.

Thiruvindalur Parimala Ranganatha Perumal Temple

Located near Mayiladuthurai in Tamil Nadu, the Parimala Ranganatha Perumal Temple is revered as the 26th Divya Desam. It is where the significance of the Ekadashi Vrat was glorified, thanks to the unwavering devotion of King Ambarisha. Thirumangai Azhwar has sung 10 verses (Pasurams) in praise of this sacred place.

According to legend, King Ambarisha performed 100 consecutive Ekadashi fasts with utmost devotion. When Sage Durvasa attempted to disrupt the final vratam, Lord Vishnu protected the king and later granted him a boon. Ambarisha requested the Lord to remain here to bless future devotees.

This temple is part of the Pancharanga Kshetrams along River Kaveri. The temple features a five-tiered Rajagopuram, a vast prakaram, and ancient shrines including a rare Hayagriva sannidhi. It is believed that Chandra (the Moon God) bathed in the Pushkarini here and was relieved of his curse, hence the name “Indalur”.

Vaikuntha Ekadashi (20-day), Chitra Pournami, Aavani Krishna Utsavam, Purattasi Navaratri, and Panguni Brahmotsavam are grandly celebrated.
