திருத்தெற்றியம்பலம் பள்ளி கொண்ட பெருமாள் கோயில், 34-வது திவ்ய தேசமாக போற்றப்படுகிறது. “அம்பலம்” என்ற சொல் வழங்கப்படும் ஒரே திவ்ய தேசமாகும். இது திருநாங்கூர் 11 திருப்பதிகளில் ஒன்றாக, திருமங்கையாழ்வாரால் 10 பாசுரங்களில் மங்களாசாசனம் பெற்றது.

இரண்யாட்சனை அழிக்க வராக அவதாரம் எடுத்த திருமால், பூமியை மீட்ட பிறகு, ஆதிசேஷன், சிவபெருமான், மகாலட்சுமி மூவருக்கும் இத்தலத்தில் அருள் செய்தார். சிவந்த கண்களுடன் பள்ளி கொண்டதால், இங்கு அவர் “செங்கண்மால் ரங்கநாதர்” என அழைக்கப்படுகிறார். இவ்வருடும் ஸ்ரீரங்க நாதர் உருவம் கொண்டதால், இவரை வணங்கினால் ஸ்ரீரங்கத்தை வணங்கியதற்குச் சமம் என கருதப்படுகிறது.
வேத விமானம் கீழ், ஆதிசேஷன் மீது பள்ளி கொண்ட பெருமாள் அருள்பாலிக்கிறார். ஸ்ரீதேவி, பூதேவி, சக்கரத்தாழ்வார், சந்தானகோபாலர், லட்சுமி நாராயணர் சன்னதிகளில் உள்ளனர்.
செங்கமலவல்லி தாயார் தனிச்சந்நிதியில், 12 ஆழ்வார்கள், அனுமன், மணவாள மாமுனிகள் அருள்பாலிக்கின்றனர்.
சூரியன் இங்கே சாப விமோசனம் பெற்றதால், சூரிய புஷ்கரிணி என பெயர் பெற்றது. இங்கு வழிபாடு செய்தால் உயர் பதவி, நீடித்த புகழ், நோயிலிருந்து மீட்பு கிடைக்கும் என நம்பப்படுகிறது.
வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி, தை மாத கருட சேவை விழாக்கள் சிறப்பாக நடைபெறுகின்றன.
Thiruthetriambalam – Pallikonda Perumal Temple, glorified as the 34th Divya Desam, is the only Divya Desam where the term “Ambalam” (stage) is used in its name. Located among the 11 Thirunangur temples, this sacred site has been praised in 10 Pasurams by Thirumangai Azhwar in Periya Thirumozhi.

To rescue Earth from the demon Hiranyaksha, Lord Vishnu took the Varaha Avatar. After the battle, He appeared here to Lakshmi, Shiva, and Adisesha, blessing them at this very spot. Due to His reddened eyes after the war, the Lord here is called Sengamal Ranganatha. As He is believed to be Sri Ranganatha Himself, worshipping Him here is considered equal to worshipping Lord Ranganatha of Srirangam.
In the sanctum under the Veda Vimanam, the Lord reclines majestically on Adisesha, with Sri Devi near His head and Bhooma Devi at His feet. Lakshmi Narayana, Chakrathazhwar, and Santhana Gopala Krishna are also enshrined here.
Sengamala Valli Thayar has a separate shrine. The 12 Azhwars, Hanuman, and Manavala Mamunigal grace the mandapam.
The Surya Pushkarini is famed as the place where Lord Surya regained His radiance after a curse. Devotees seeking career growth, health recovery, fame, and prosperity are believed to find relief here.
