108 வைணவ திவ்ய தேசங்களில், தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் அமைந்துள்ள நத்தம் (வரகுணமங்கை) விஜயாஸனர் கோயில் 92-வது திவ்ய தேசமாக போற்றப்படுகிறது. இது நவதிருப்பதியில் இரண்டாம் திருப்பதி ஆக சிறப்பாக கருதப்படுகிறது. இத்தலம் சந்திரனுக்குரிய தலமாகும் மற்றும் நம்மாழ்வார் மங்களாசாசனம் செய்த தலம் ஆகும்.

மூலவர்: விஜயாஸனர் (பரமபத நாதன்), உற்சவர்: எம்மடர் கடிவான், மற்றும் தாயாராக வரகுண வல்லி, வரகுண மங்கை அருள் செய்கிறார்கள். தீர்த்தங்கள்: அக்னி தீர்த்தம் மற்றும் தேவ புஷ்கரிணி. கோயிலில் விமானம்: விஜயகோடி விமானம் உள்ளது.

கோயில் சிறப்பு:
விஜயகோடி விமானத்தின் கீழ் உள்ள கருவறையில், விஜயாஸனர் பெருமாள் கிழக்கு நோக்கி நின்று அருள்பாலிக்கிறார். தாயாரான வரகுணமவல்லி மற்றும் வரகுணமங்கை உடன் பெருமாள் சேவை செய்கிறார். நம்மாழ்வாரின் மங்களாசாசனமும், பெருமாள் மற்றும் நரசிம்மருக்கு ஏலக்காய் மாலை வழிபாடு செய்யும் வழக்கம் வெற்றி பெறும் எனப் பரம்பரை நம்பிக்கை.

திருவிழாக்கள்:
வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி, தீபாவளி, ஐப்பசி தெப்போற்சவம், திருக்கார்த்திகை தீப விழா போன்ற விழாக்கள் சிறப்பாக கொண்டாடப்படுகின்றன.
திருமண தடை நீக்கம், குழந்தைப் பாக்கியம், கல்வி வளர்ச்சி ஆகியவற்றுக்கு இத்தலம் பிரபலமாகும்.

Among the 108 Divya Desams of Vaishnavism, the Natham (Varagunamangai) Vijayasanar Temple located in Thoothukudi district is revered as the 92nd Divya Desam. It holds the special position of being the second temple in the Navathirupathi group and is dedicated to the Moon god (Chandra). This sacred place is sanctified by the hymns of Nammalvar.

The main deity (Moolavar) is Vijayasanar (Paramapatha Nathan), with Utsavar named Emmatar Kadivan, and the goddesses Varagun Valli and Varagun Mangai. The temple features the holy waters of Agni Theertham and Deva Pushkarini. The temple’s architectural highlight is the Vijayakodi Vimana under which the deity stands facing east.

Temple Significance:
Vijayasanar is worshipped along with the goddesses Varagunavalli and Varagunamangai. According to legend, offering elaikkai garland (betel leaves) to the presiding deity and Narasimha here ensures success in all endeavors. The temple’s divine grace is celebrated in Nammalvar’s hymns, marking it as a place of powerful blessings.

Festivals:
Major festivals include Vaikunta Ekadashi, Deepavali, Aipasi Theppotsavam (5 days), and Karthigai Deepam. Devotees flock here during these times to witness special rituals and processions.

The temple is especially famed for blessings related to removal of marriage obstacles, child blessings, and academic success.
