Govardhana Lifting Leela 

In Vrindavan, the villagers used to worship Indra, the rain god, for good harvests. But Krishna advised them to instead worship Govardhana Hill, which provided them grass, water, and shelter.

Angered, Indra sent fierce storms and torrential rain to punish the villagers. Seeing their fear, Krishna lifted the entire Govardhana Hill with His little finger like an umbrella, giving shelter to all people and animals beneath.

For seven days and nights, Krishna held the hill effortlessly. Realizing his mistake, Indra bowed down and sought forgiveness. Krishna, the Supreme Lord, had once again protected His devotees.

This leela shows that Krishna alone is the true protector, and surrender to Him brings divine grace and fearlessness.

கோவர்தன பர்வத உயர்த்தும் லீலை 

வ்ரிந்தாவனில், மக்கள் நல்ல பயிருக்கு இந்திரனைக் வழிபட்டார்கள். ஆனால் கிருஷ்ணர், உண்மையான பாதுகாப்பு தரும் கோவர்தன மலைவழிபாடு செய்ய வேண்டும் எனக் கூறினார்.

இதனால் கோபமடைந்த இந்திரன், கடும் புயலும் மழையும் பொழியச் செய்தான். மக்கள் அச்சத்தில் இருந்தபோது, கிருஷ்ணர் தம் இடது கை சிறிய விரலால் கோவர்தனமலையை உயர்த்தினார், குடைபோல் தாங்கினார்.

ஏழு நாட்கள், ஏழு இரவுகள், கிருஷ்ணர் மலையை எளிதாக தாங்கி, மக்கள், மாடுகள் அனைவருக்கும் பாதுகாப்பளித்தார். பின்னர், தன் தவறை உணர்ந்த இந்திரன், கிருஷ்ணரிடம் மன்னிப்பு கேட்டார்.

இந்த லீலை, கிருஷ்ணரே உண்மையான ரட்சகர் என்றும், பக்தி மற்றும் சரணாகதியில் பயமின்றி வாழலாம் என்பதையும் உணர்த்துகிறது.
