Kesi Vadham Leela – English Version

Kamsa, furious over Krishna’s growing fame in Vrindavan, sent the fierce demon Kesi, who took the form of a gigantic, wild horse. Kesi galloped into Vrindavan, terrorizing the people with thunderous neighs and flying hooves.

To protect all, Krishna stood firm and faced the raging demon. Kesi charged and tried to trample Krishna, but the Lord caught hold of him, wrestled him down, and thrust His arm into Kesi’s mouth. Krishna’s arm expanded like a blazing fire, choking the demon.

Unable to bear the divine force, Kesi’s body burst, and he fell dead. The gods showered flowers from above, and Sage Narada appeared, declaring that Krishna would soon kill Kamsa himself. Vrindavan rejoiced at another divine victory.

கேசி வதம் லீலை – Tamil Version

கிருஷ்ணரின் புகழ் நாளொன்றுக்கு நாள் அதிகரிக்க, கோபமடைந்த கம்சன், ஒரு கொடிய ஆசுரனை அனுப்பினான். அவன் பெயர் கேசி, மிகப்பெரிய குதிரை வடிவத்தில் வந்தான். கேசி வ்ரிந்தாவனில் அடித்தழிக்கும் வேகத்தில் ஓடி, மக்களை அச்சுறுத்தினான்.

கிருஷ்ணர் துணிவுடன் எதிர்த்து நின்றார். கேசி தாக்கியபோது, கிருஷ்ணர் அவனை பிடித்து அவன் வாயிலுள் தம் கைச் செலுத்தினார். அந்த கை தீபோல சூடுடன் பெரிதாகி, கேசியின் உயிரைப் பறித்தது.

கேசி சக்தியின்றி சிதறி விழுந்தான். வானிலிருந்து தேவர்கள் பூச்சாறு பறக்கவிட்டனர். முனிவர் நாரதர் தோன்றி, கிருஷ்ணர் தான் கம்சனையும் கொல்வார் என மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் கூறினார். வ்ரிந்தாவனமே ஆனந்தத்தில் மகிழ்ந்தது.
