Krishna Swallows the Forest Fire Leela (Khandava Dahana Leela)

One day in Vrindavan, Krishna and His cowherd friends were joyfully playing, while their cows wandered deep into the forest. Suddenly, a massive forest fire broke out, encircling both the cows and the boys. The flames blazed fiercely, leaving no escape route.

Terrified, the cowherd boys cried out to Krishna for help. Calm and compassionate, Lord Krishna asked them to close their eyes. As they did, the Supreme Lord, in His divine form, swallowed the entire fire effortlessly, protecting everyone.

When the boys opened their eyes, the danger had vanished. Amazed, they praised Krishna’s divine power, unaware that He was none other than the Supreme Lord Himself. This leela reveals Krishna’s boundless love and protection for His devotees.

கிருஷ்ணர் காட்டுத்தீயை விழுங்கும் லீலை

ஒருநாள் வ்ரிந்தாவனத்தில், கிருஷ்ணரும் பசுக்கன்களும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக விளையாடிக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். பசுக்கள் ஆழ்ந்த காடுக்குள் சென்றுவிட்டன. எதிர்பாராதவிதமாக ஒரு பெரும் காட்டுத்தீ மூண்டது. பசுக்கள் மற்றும் பசுக்கன்கள் தீயால் சுழற்றப்பட்டனர்.

அச்சத்தால், பசுக்கன்கள் ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணரை அலறி அழைத்தனர். தயைமிகு கிருஷ்ணர், அவர்களை கண்களை மூடச் சொன்னார். அவர்கள் கண்களை மூடியவுடன், அவரது தெய்வீக வடிவில், காட்டுத்தீயையே விழுங்கினார்.

பின்னர் கண்களை திறந்த பசுக்கன்கள், எந்த அபாயமும் இல்லாமல் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்டிருப்பதை பார்த்து, கிருஷ்ணரை வியந்து பாடிப் போற்றினர். இது, பக்தர்களின் மீதான கிருஷ்ணரின் அளவற்ற கருணையையும் பாதுகாப்பையும் வெளிப்படுத்தும் அற்புத லீலை.
