திருநின்றவூர் பக்தவத்சலப் பெருமாள் கோவில்

108 திவ்யதேசங்களில் 58-வது தலம் ஆகும். இங்கு மூலவர் பக்தவத்சலப் பெருமாள் மற்றும் தாயார் ‘என்னைப் பெற்ற தாயார்’ (சுதாவல்லி) ஆகியோர் திருக்கல்யாண கோலத்தில் அருள்பாலிக்கின்றனர். பெருமாள் 11 அடி உயரத்தில் நின்ற திருக்கோலத்தில், பஞ்சாயுதம் ஏந்தி, ஸ்ரீதேவி, பூதேவியுடன் எழுந்தருளுகின்றார்.

திருமங்கையாழ்வார் இந்த தலத்துக்கு பாசுரம் பாடாமலிருந்ததால், பெருமாள் அவரைத் தேடி திருக்கடல்மல்லைக்கு சென்றார். அங்கு திருமங்கையாழ்வாரால், “நின்றவூர் நித்திலத் தொத்தூர்” எனும் பாசுரம் பெற்றார். பின்னர் திருக்கண்ணமங்கையிலும் அவரால் பாடப் பட்டார்.

ராஜகோபுரம், பளீபீடம், கருடவிழி, மண்டபங்கள் சிறப்பாக கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆண்டாள், ஆழ்வார்கள், ராமானுஜர், ஆதிசேஷன் ஆகியோருக்கு தனிச்சந்நிதிகள் உள்ளன.

பங்குனி திருவோணம், வைகுண்ட ஏகாதசி, மாசி மகம் உள்ளிட்ட திருவிழாக்களில் சிறப்பான உற்சவங்கள் நடைபெறுகின்றன. புதன்கிழமைகளில் ஆதிசேஷனை வழிபாடு செய்தால் ராகு-கேது தோஷம் விலகும் என்பது நம்பிக்கை.

Thiruninravur Bhaktavatsala Perumal Temple

Located in Thiruninravur, Tiruvallur District, the Bhaktavatsala Perumal Temple is the 58th of the 108 Divya Desams revered in the Vaishnava tradition. Here, Lord Bhaktavatsala Perumal graces devotees in a majestic 11-foot standing posture, holding Pancha Ayudhas, flanked by Sri Devi and Bhu Devi. The Thayar, known as ‘Ennai Petra Thayar’ (Sudhavalli), grants all auspiciousness.

When Thirumangai Azhwar skipped singing about this temple, the Lord Himself visited him at Thirukkadalmallai (Mahabalipuram) and received a Pasuram mentioning “Ninravur Nithilath Thoththur”. Later, he was also included in the Pasuram at Thirukkannamangai.

The temple features an imposing Rajagopuram, Balipeetam, flag post, and well-structured mandapams. The sanctum of Thayar lies to the right of the main sanctum, and the outer prakaram houses shrines for Andal, Azhwars, Chakrathazhwar, Ramanuja, Manavala Mamunigal, Hanuman, and Adiseshan.

During Panguni Thiruvonam, Vaikunta Ekadasi, Masi Magham, and other festivals, grand processions and special rituals are conducted. Devotees believe that lighting lamps and offering milk payasam to Adiseshan on Wednesdays removes Rahu-Ketu Dosham and marriage obstacles.

This sacred site reflects Lord Vishnu’s compassion, earning Him the title “Bhaktavatsala” – the one who cares deeply for His devotees.
