திருப்பாற்கடல் திவ்ய தேசம்
திருப்பாற்கடல், 108 வைணவ திவ்ய தேசங்களில் 107-வது திவ்ய தேசமாக போற்றப்படுகிறது. இது பூலோகத்தில் தரிசிக்க இயலாத ஒரே திவ்யதேசம் ஆகும். இங்கே ப்ராக்ருத சரீரத்துடன் செல்ல முடியாது; க்ஷூக்ஷ்ம சரீரம் பெற்ற பிறகே செல்ல முடியும்.
இத்தலத்தில், பெரியாழ்வார், ஆண்டாள், நம்மாழ்வார், திருமங்கை ஆழ்வார் உள்ளிட்ட பத்து ஆழ்வார்கள் 51 பாசுரங்கள் மூலம் மங்களாசாசனம் செய்துள்ளனர்.

பாற்கடலைக் கடையும் போது, மந்திரமலை மூழ்க, திருமால் ஆமையாக அவதரித்து காப்பாற்றினார். வாசுகி பாம்பு விஷம் கக்கியதும், சிவபெருமான் ஆலகால விஷத்தை உட்கொண்டதால் திருநீலகண்டர் என அறியப்படுகிறார்.
இந்த தலத்தை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு பஞ்ச வியூகங்கள் பூலோகத்தில் பிற தலங்களில் காணப்படுகின்றன:

Thirupparkadal Divya Desam
Thirupparkadal is revered as the 107th of the 108 Divya Desams in Vaishnavism. It is unique as it cannot be visited in a physical (Prakrita) body, only through a subtle (Sukshma) body after reaching the spiritual realm.
This sacred site has been glorified in 51 Pasurams by 10 Azhwars including Periyazhwar, Andal, Nammazhwar, and Thirumangai Azhwar.

It is believed that Sriman Narayana personally welcomes those who have worshipped at the other 106 Divya Desams to this divine realm after their earthly journey.
During the Churning of the Ocean (Samudra Manthan), when Mount Mandara started sinking, Lord Vishnu incarnated as a tortoise to support it. When Vasuki, the serpent used as a rope, spewed deadly Halahala poison, Lord Shiva consumed it, earning the name Neelakanta.
Thirupparkadal is also associated with the Pancha Vyuhas of Vishnu, who appear in earthly forms at:
