108 வைணவ திவ்ய தேசங்களில், ராணிப்பேட்டை மாவட்டம் சோளிங்கர் பகுதியில் உள்ள யோக நரசிம்மர் பெருமாள் கோயில் (திருக்கடிகை) 64வது திவ்ய தேசமாகத் திரும்பப் போற்றப்படுகிறது. இத்தலத்தின் தனிச்சிறப்பு: நரசிம்மர் மற்றும் ஆஞ்சநேயர் இருவரும் யோக நிலையில் அருள் போற்றுகின்றனர்.

பேயாழ்வார், திருமங்கையாழ்வார், நாத முனிகள், திருக்கச்சி நம்பிகள், ராமானுஜர், மணவாள மாமுனிகள் இத்தலத்தை மங்களாசாசனம் செய்துள்ளனர்.

திருக்கடிகை என அழைக்கப்படும் இந்தத் தலம், 500 அடி உயரமுள்ள கடிகாசலம் மலை மீது அமைந்துள்ளது. இங்கு மூலவர் நரசிம்மர் மற்றும் அதற்கு அருகே சிறிய மலையில் ஆஞ்சநேயர் யோக நிலையில் சங்கு சக்கரத்துடன் அருள் செய்கிறார்கள். பக்தர்கள் முதலில் பெருமாளை தரிசித்து பின்னர் ஆஞ்சநேயரை தரிசிப்பது வழக்கம்.

பிரம்மரிஷிகள், சப்தரிஷிகள் இத்தலத்தில் தவம் செய்து நரசிம்ம அவதாரத்தை மீண்டும் காண விரும்பினர். ஆஞ்சநேயர், ராமபிரானிடம் சங்கு, சக்கரங்களைப் பெற்று ரிஷிகளை காத்தார். அதன்படி நரசிம்மர் யோக நிலையில் அருள் அளித்தார்.

ஆஞ்சநேயர் 406 படிகள் உயரத்தில் யோகத்தில் அமர்ந்துள்ளார். பெரிய மலை மலிகை மரங்களால், இதய நோய் மற்றும் ரத்த கொதிப்புக்கான மருந்துகள் தயாரிக்கப்படுகின்றன.

நரசிம்மர் தீர்த்தத்தில் நீராடுதல் பிரம்மஹத்தி தோஷங்களை நீக்கும் என்று ஐதீகம் உள்ளது. மேலும், சின்னமலைச் சுனையில் மூழ்கி வாயுகுமார் வழிபாடு செய்து விருப்பம் பெறலாம்.

Solingar Yoga Narasimha Perumal Temple (Thirukkadigai) – 64th Divya Desam

Among the 108 Vaishnava Divya Desams, the Solingar Yoga Narasimha Perumal Temple located in Ranipet district, Thirukkadigai, is revered as the 64th sacred shrine. This temple is uniquely famous because both Lord Narasimha and Lord Anjaneya are in yoga (meditative) postures, blessing devotees.

Saints like Peyalvar, Thirumangai Alvar, Natha Munis, Thirukatchi Nambigal, Ramanuja, and Manaval Mamunigal have sung hymns praising this temple.

The temple is situated atop the Kadikasalam hill, 500 feet tall. The main deity, Narasimha, faces east wearing the Shalak village garb. Nearby on a smaller hill, Lord Anjaneya sits in yoga posture with conch, discus, and japa mala, overlooking Narasimha. Devotees customarily worship Narasimha first, then Anjaneya.

Legend tells of the Sapta Rishis—Vamadevar, Vasishtha, Kashyapa, Athri, Jamadagni, Gautama, and Bharadwaja—who desired to witness the Narasimha avatar again and meditated here. During the Ramayana, Anjaneya received the conch and discus from Lord Rama to protect these sages from demons. Pleased by their penance, Lord Vishnu manifested here as Narasimha in yoga posture.

Anjaneya resides on a nearby small hill at 406 steps elevation in yoga posture, with four arms, conch, discus, and mala. From this vantage point, his gaze seems to meet Narasimha’s divine feet.

The hill is rich with medicinal herbs used to prepare treatments for heart disease and blood disorders. Ritual bathing in the Narasimha Theertham is believed to alleviate severe doshas like Brahmahatti dosha. Immersing in the nearby small pond (Sunnai) and praying to Vayu Kumaras grants devotees their wishes.
